About
About Me — Chunbo Liu
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” — Laozi
Who I Am
I’m Chunbo Liu (刘淳博), a 16-year-old high school student based in Changchun, China.
I identify as an INTJ. I value depth over breadth, systems over shortcuts, and genuine understanding over surface-level performance.
I have many ideas to achieve, some of them attract me a lot, some of them have much potential which I am willing to dream with.
My Academic Background
- 🥈 2025 CMO Silver Medal
Intellectual Interests
Mathematics × AI
I’m fascinated by the intersection of formal verification, LLM reasoning, and mathematical proof. My competition math background (linear algebra, proof theory) gives me an unusual entry point into this space.
Philosophy
I read and think seriously about both Eastern and Western philosophy:
- Eastern: Laozi, Zhuangzi — the Tao Te Ching and Zhuangzi are constant companions
- Western: Plato, Kant — epistemology, ethics, metaphysics
Philosophy isn’t a side hobby for me. It’s integral to how I approach problems and build frameworks for understanding the world.
Languages
- Native: Mandarin Chinese
- Working: English (TOEFL preparation)
- Self-studying: Japanese
My Philosophy of life
Actually, being a person who only pushed by impossible interests easily felt confused and desperate. I can’t be accepted by classmates around me, my ideas are always seen as a domb.
So how to keep my own pace is such an important proposal for me.
